We are pleased to share with you some good news that, DARAJA App made by CCI in partnership with the UNDP and other close partners in climate information services is now available in Google Play store to provide you with timely weather updates. Once you download the App, you may log in as a guest or register as a seller or buyer because the App enables users to benefit not only from early warning weather information which is the important part of the App but also information updates for traffic jam anywhere in the world, market prices of goods from farmers, fishermen etc in Tanzania. You may download the App through this link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.daraja.app.weather_app_tutorial  or you may go to Google Play directly and access the App on your own. We are still working on to ensure the App is also available in App store and include further improvements by linking the App with the downscaled weather forecast of the DARAJA provided by the Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA) to make more effective and reliable to the public. For now we are kindly requesting you to download and share this message with your wider circle to enable majority in climate information services to use the App and to recommend any improvement for the community.
