COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION AND PLANNING.
CCI supports community to organize themselves through a network of saving schemes known as Tanzania Federation For Urban Poor (TFUP). The organization of community aims at creating collective Action in dealing with informal settlements challenges which in most cases cannot be solved at the individual level.
More importantly it aims to voice up the community priorities to the respective Authority such as Local Government Authority (LGA) and utilities. When community come together are in a better position to understand, identify challenges and come up with ideas on solutions and collectively put planned interventions into actions

The network of Tanzania Urban Poor Federation is working not only for the benefit of members but rather acting as a catalyst for organizing the larger community into Action. Currently the Federation is working in 8 cities of Tanzania which are Dar es Salaam, Morogoro, Dodoma, Mwanza, Mara, Arusha, Tanga and Zanzibar with 17,000 members.
