DARAJA Project, two days training on climate change and weather.
Centre for Community Initiative through DARAJA Project, has conducted a two days training for various stakeholders on General information on weather and climate by the Tanzania Meteorological Authority(TMA) which aimed at increasing awareness to the community on access, understanding, and use of the Weather and climate information to reduce the effects of severe weather change.
The stakeholders involved were the local government authorities, Mtaa Disaster Committee, and social community groups that includes Tanzania for the Urban Poor Federation (TUPF) from MjiMpya and Karakata settlement as the implementation of DARAJA project.
